Electronic relaxation effects in quantum dots

Abstract:
1. Relation between experiment and theory (based on multiple e-LO scattering) of the electronic energy relaxation in quantum dots is briefly summarized.

2. Non-passivity effect of the LO-phonon reservoir is discussed. A way of elimination of this effect is proposed and numerically tested in simple approximation. The impact of this non-passivity on the electronic part of kinetic equations is estimated.
