Pec Fall schools - some practical info
Here is some practical information for the participants of Fall schools in Pec:
- The expected weather is of a nice Fall type: around 15 C, often sunny. However, the mountains can cause sudden weather change to windy, rainy, foggy (hopefully not snowy). So you should not arrive only in summer attire but be prepared also for colder conditions.
- The pension is non-smoking.
- Please bring some slippers or shoes suitable for the inside of the pension.
- Bring also some notebooks so that you can take notes.
- The pension has a dinning hall so we don't need to go to restaurants. They do provide generally a unique course for each meal. Vegetarians get - ins case of a meal with meat - a double dose of vegetables and side dishes.
There is also a bar !

- The best way to get from the airport to the city (the center is about 15 km) is to take a cab or a minivan called CEDAZ (in front of the arrival hall). The cab should cost between 500-1000 CZK (ask before the trip), the minivan has a fixed, much smaller, price but may take longer.
- Two students share a room: I will prepare in advance an ad hoc pairing and the landlord will have it - this is just that you know where to go if you arrive while I am not there. Of course, if you decide to change it among yourself in any way, that is fine.
