The combustion of wastes and biomass. The main pragmatic interest is the applied research of combusting of difficult and ecologically hazardous materials, including the design of new contacting units. In particular, de novo syntheses of polyhalogenated organic compounds on catalytically hihgly active surfaces of fly ashes in flue gases are studied in laboratory scale and under real technological conditions in a 100 kW pilot plant circulating fluidized bed.
