PREHISTORIC SETTLEMENT PATTERNS IN BOHEMIA

FIELD EXCAVATIONS

Archaeological excavations in the field investigate carefully selected features identified by aerial survey. Thus far, the "Prehistoric Settlement Patterns" project has concentrated on small square and circular enclosures (wide area excavations) and on extensive, closed linear formations made up of (sometimes-interrupted) single or double ditches.
