Fields of interest: Hydrodynamics of multiphase reactors, mainly bubble columns: various aspects of gas-liquid flow, for instance, bubble formation at perforated plates, hydrodynamic bubble-bubble interactions in arrays and swarms, flow regimes in bubble columns their stability and transition, general aspects of stability of uniform bubble beds, constitutive properties of gas-liquid mixtures, generic analogy between different multiphase systems (bubble column, fluidized bed, sedimentation), etc.
