Floods, Soil, Global Changes and Other Circumstances I.

Rusek J.

The Earth's global ecosystem has been influenced by a lot of human activities. The changes caused by the above factors result in changes in functions and interactions in ecosys-tems, interactions between biotic and abiotic components of the biosphere have been im-paired. The process described may cause extreme fluctuations in the weather and consecutive climate changes. Floods influence soil ecosystem including soil fauna that has been in various ways adapted to standard floods. Nevertheless, soil animals are seriously affected by floods outside the regular seasons and by those acting as disasters.
