Full title: Research and development of mechanical properties of the materials used for new types of turbochargers and development of a new, more advanced technology of precision casting of impeller wheels of the developed turbochargers.

The submitted project will research mechanical properties of the materials used for new types of turbochargers. The research will be focused on mechanical properties of the materials suitable for temperature range of exhaust gas between 550C and 1020C, which can be used for precise investment castings. Furthermore, the project is focused on the development of a new, more advanced technology of precise casting of impeller wheels of turbochargers of smaller outputs in order to increase substantially the capacity of precise casting foundry of První brněnská strojírna Velká Bíteš, a.s.
