At present, the Aerial Photograph Library contains pictorial documentation of around 1000 sites, of which half are new discoveries of sites identified with the aid of crop- and soil- marks. Other sites fall within various categories of historic landscapes, and the archive also contains pictures of natural ecozones and examples of landscape types in the areas of interest covered by particular projects.
