• 10 October 2008 - the Tenth Hala Lecture - "“Soft material” surface engineering: from flexible to gradient surfaces" was presented by Professor Jan Genzer from North Carolina State University, Raleigh NC, USA.
  On this occasion, the bust of Professor E. Hala was unveiled in the entrance hall of the ICPF.
