Most of the Institute is located at Průhonice, including Administration, Park Maintenance, a library, experimental gardens and most of the scientific departments (i. e. Department of Taxonomy, Plant Population Ecology, Genetic Ecology, Geobotany, Invasion Ecology, Mycorrhizal Symbiosis, GIS and Remote Sensing Laboratory and Flow Cytometry Laboratory), and the office of the editor of Folia Geobotanica.

The Centre for Algology, Department of Functional Ecology and associated facilities are located in Třeboň.

The departure of buses of the public city transport from Prague to Průhonice is located at the metro C station "Opatov" (bus lines: 324, 325, 363, 385). If you would like to reach us by car, take exit number 6 on the highway D1 (Prague - Brno), direction Průhonice.
