Optical observations represent important part of multispectral analyses of
high-energy sources.
We develop and operate robotic telescopes and small ground-based telescopes,
and in collaboration network of small and amateur observatories.
We focus on the development and operation of innovated ground-based telescopes
for the astrophysical satellite projects, mainly robotic telescopes BART and BOOTES.
BART is a Czech robotic telescope placed in the Astronomical Institute in Ondrejov.
BOOTES is a system of two robotic telescopes operated in the framework of Spanish-Czech
collaboration in favourable observing conditions of south Spain. It includes remotely
controlled instruments directly connected to the international system of satellite
data distribution (gamma-ray bursts) GCN. Both instruments already provided us
with valuable follow-up data for gamma-ray bursts detected by satellites.
Development of unique controlling software for the satellite and ground-based
experiments (INTEGRAL OMC, INTEGRAL ISDC, BART, BOOTES).
