The Thema: Relation between the National and the Global,

Prague, 29 November – 1 December 2006

The Conference „Filosofie a sociální vědy“ was held in Prague from November 29 to December 1 this year. The three-day program took place in the Presidium of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Narodni Street, Prague 1. The conference was dedicated to the theme: „A relation between the national and the global“. The conference was organised by the Centre of Global studies, a common workplace of the Institute of Philosophy at the Academy of Sciences and  the Faculty of Philosophy at Charles University in Prague.

The Conference sections were focused on topics:

The Czech reflection in the global mirror

The activities in favour of the developing countries
