The Tasmanian Devil

The Tasmanian Devil (Sarcophilus laniarius) has been negatively influenced by strong competition from the Australian Dingo (Canis lupus dingo), introduced by humans, and by direct human pressure. High occurrence of liver cancer has been found in this species. The author discusses a possible explanation for this phenomenon.
