The Dragon Tree (Dracaena draco) originating from the Canary Islands forms compact shrubs with several stems or trees with one stem and a wide umbrella crown. In its home country it is one of the notable strictly protected species. However, it is frequently planted not only in its homeland but also in the Azores, Madeira and Cape Verde. The species can be easily planted from seeds even in our country, but without any hope of flowers.
