Research interest

I am interested in freshwater fish parasitology and ecological aspects of fish-parasite interactions. Most of my current research activity involves investigations of metazoan parasites in introduced fish species. Besides, part of my research includes also parasite fauna of Danio rerio in Bangladesh and investigations on the ecology of West African fishes.

For more information see my research interest page with following content:

  • Parasite communities in fish hosts
  • Parasite infection of introduced species
  • Parasite fauna of Danio rerio in Bangladesh
  • Fish ecology in Niokolo-Koba National Park in Senegal, West Africa
