Kučera P.

Freshwater red algae are one-cell or multi-cell algae of various colours (not only red), which can be found on wet walls, the surface of soil, on coasts and in stagnant as well as running waters. This general summary of representatives of this algae group in the Czech Republic offers new information on the taxonomy and biology of individual genera and species. In particular, the classification of the genus Lemanea is presented in details.
