  2. PFBC of coal, emissions and effect of biomass/waste co-combustion on emissions and behaviour of the PFB (supported by GA AS CR) 1998 - 2002.
  3. Staged PFBC of coal - emission study - gaseous pollutants, heavy metals, (supported by EC - INCO-Copernicus) 1999 - 2001.
  4. Identification, characterization and research of heavy metal air pollution and methods for reduction of the emissions (supported by Ministry of Environment of the Czech Republic) 1997 - 1999.

Basic and applied research: Chemical Reactors and Technologies for Gas-Solid, Gas-Liquid Systems, Environmental Engineering, Emission measurement, Non-Ferrous Metallurgy, Fluidized Bed Combustion, Waste Combustion, Several industrial projects.
Design, construction and erection of an apparatus with circulating fluidized bed, combustion and emission studies 1992 - 93. Design, construction and erection of pressurized fluidized bed reactor (1994 - 1996) and experiments on PFBC 1995 - 2000.
