Unusual Feeding Behaviour in the Muskrat

The article is based on observations of muskrats (Ondatra zibethicus) on the Prostřední rybník/Middle Fishpond in the Lednické rybníky Fishponds National Na¬ture Reserve (South Moravia). A possibility that muskrats can prey on fish up to 15 cm length has been repeatedly debated but this report presents the first evidence.
