Antagonists of group I metabotropic glutamate receptors and cortical afterdischarges in immature rats.
MTEP, and antagonist of subtype mGluR5 of metabotropic glutamate receptors exhibits an anticonvulsant action in a model of cortical epileptic afterdischarges whereas AIDA, an antagonist of subtype mGluR1 does not.
