Rhinotermes marginalis (Rhinotermitidae)

As well as some other members of Rhinotermitinae, Rhinotermes marginalis soldiers are dimorphic and revealing marked differences between soldier subcastes, with large soldiers fighting using their large mandibles while small by chemical means using frontal gland secretion.
