Constrictotermes cavifrons (Nasutitermitinae)

Constrictotermes cavifrons is the only lichen-feeding termite of French Guiana. When foraging, it forms a huge columns of workers guarded from sides by soldiers, which then split into series of small paths leading to foraging areas.
