The Grant Agency of the Academy of Sciences of the CR (Národní 3, 117 20 Prague 1) is the internal body of the AS CR. Complying with the Act No. 283/1992 Coll., on Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic as amended by the Acts No. 220/2000 Coll. and No. 342/2005 Coll., and with the Act No. 130/2002 Coll., on support of research and development from public funds and on amendment to some related acts, as amended, the GA AS distributes upon the results of competitive tenders in the field of research and development special-purpose funds devoted for this purpose from the Academy budget and/or other sources to the support of the grant projects. The Grant system of the Grant Agency of AS CR is based on the Statute of the Grant Agency of AS CR approved by the XXIXth meeting of the Academic Senate of AS CR of December 14, 2006. The Grant Agency of AS CR is an open grant agency. Any legal persons with permanent residence in the Czech Republic, physical entities with permanent or long-term residence in the Czech Republic, government or municipal authority organizations are entitled to apply for awarding of a purpose-built support. |
