The author describes records of unusual feeding behaviour in insects, namely predation of the 14-spot Ladybird (Propylea quatuordecimpunctata) on mayflies of the genus Cleon and feeding of soft tissues in germinating maple twigs by stag beetle Platycerus caprea adults.
