Individual units of the Academy executive and managerial bodies had a similar orientation e.g. the Political Professional and Personnel Division of the CSAS Presidium Office, and ideological manipulation was also implicit in the management and executive of practically all the officiating bodies and divisions of the Academy, particularly in the social sciences and humanities (e.g. at the Institute of Scientific Atheism, later transformed into the CSAS Institute for Ethics and Religious Studies ).
