Gladiators of Wet Rocks - Frogs from the Genus Petropedetes

Petropedetidae are a recently described family of frogs from the African continent. They are very interesting for their sexual dimorphism and for behavior connected with reproduction - fighting among males and care of terrestrial clutches. The article summarized current knowledge about these frogs and it is supplemented by observation notes made by the authors at Mt. Fungom (Cameroon).
