LOGICA 2011
Hejnice Monastery, 20 – 24 June, 2011

The 25th in the series of annual international symposia devoted to logic, will be held at Hejnice (in northern Bohemia, about 2.5 hours from Prague) 20 – 24 June 2011.
Invited speakers are Ed Mares, Pavel Materna, Krister Segerberg, and Gila Sher.
PRESENTATIONS The length of the presentation is 30 minutes, including approximately 10 minutes for discussion (invited lectures are scheduled for 60 minutes). The lecture hall is equipped with a data projector, an overhead projector, and a blackboard.

TRANSPORTATION and SCHEDULING A special symposium coach leaves Prague for Hejnice on Monday, June 20, at 5:30 p.m. from the centre of Prague. We will send information about the exact location of the departure area in our conference circular. The first session of the symposium begins on the morning of June 21. The symposium will be closed on Friday, June 24, around noon. The symposium coach should arrive in Prague between 4 and 5 p.m. (The journey between the centre of Prague and the airport normally takes about 30 minutes by taxi and less than an hour by public transportation.)

The fee for the symposium is 400 EUR for participants and 280 EUR for accompanying persons. The fee covers full board and lodging at Hejnice Monastery during the symposium, the conference coach from Prague to Hejnice and back, and (for participants) a copy of the volume containing contributions to the symposium. The fee can be paid either in cash (Euro or Czech crowns) upon arrival in Hejnice or through bank transfer to the account of the Institute of Philosophy ASCR v.v.i.: Ceska narodni banka, Prague 1, Czech Republic, IBAN: CZ61 0710 0000 0000 6932 4011, SWIFT (BIC): CNBACZPP. For internal transfers within the Czech Republic the account number is 69324011/0710. If possible please use LOGICA 2011 as the unique identifier of your payment. Please arrange the transfer so that the transfer fees do not reduce the amount that comes to the Institute’s account.
