Complex dynamical systems in thermodynamics, fluid and solid mechanics

The aim of the research plan is the complex solution of problems in the field of applied physics focused on the fluid and solid mechanics and on their interactions. The solution of the research plan bases on theoretical analyses, experimental investigations, and numerical simulations will be concentrated on problems of fluid dynamics and thermodynamics, environmental aerodynamics, biomechanics, dynamics of mechanical systems, vibrations, mechatronics, solid mechanics, computational mechanics, fluid–structure interaction, and material diagnostics. Simultaneously with solving of individual problems, experimental methods and measuring techniques as well as computer programs and codes will be developed.
