Supporting the ECOMA rocket campaign on December 2010, an extensive ground based campaign was carried out, including daily monitoring of the morning sector D-region ionosphere by the EISCAT VHF radar. In this presentation, we show some advanced data analysis methods, based on the raw amplitude domain sampling and the MCMC inversion, for seeking the meteor-smoke signatures in the incoherent scatter spectra.
