has been awarded by Honourable membership in CzPA JEP
Josef Zicha, MD, DSc, head of the Department of Experimental Hypertension
of the Institute of Physiology, has been awarded by Honourable membership in Czech Physiological Association of J.E. Purkyně – the appreciation for merits in development of Czech physiology. The ceremony took place at the session of the Committee of Czech Physiological Association of J.E. Purkyně on 25th May.
Dr. Zicha is involved in experimental hypertension research with special respect to abnormal ion transport, altered vascular reactivity, disturbances in vasoconstrictor and vasodilator mechanisms and ontogenetic aspects of hypertension development.
