Venue and date of the symposium

The symposium Geonics 2001 is planned to be held in Ostrava, Czech Republic in May 15 - 17, 2001. The symposium is organized by the Institute of Geonics AS CR, Mining Society of Moravia and Silesia, and ISRM Czech National Group.

Abstract and papers

Authors who intend to submit the papers are requested to complete the enclosed Reply Form and return it with the abstract to the Symposium Secretariat. The final submission of abstracts (about 300-500 words in English, please on A4 paper) is 30th November. The Symposium Proceeding will be published by PERES Publishers (Prague), one paper not more than 6 pages.

The official language of the Symposium will be English.

Symposium attendees will be able to choose from a wide variety of accommodations ranging from low – cost rooms to first class hotels.
