Prof. Bohuslav Ostadal, MD, DSc, has been awarded by the Purkyně Gold Medal of CzMA

Prof. Bohuslav Ostadal, MD, DSc, senior scientist of the Department of Developmental Cardiology of the Institute of Physiology, has been awarded by Purkyně Gold Medal of the Czech Medical Association of J.E. Purkyně – in the recognition of his lifetime scientific achievements. The ceremony took place at the session of the Committee of Czech Physiological Association of J.E. Purkyně on 25th May.

The main field of Professor Ostadal’s research concerns ontogenetic aspects of major cardiovascular diseases, such as ischemic heart disease.
