Recent advances in contact mechanics: modelling & mathematical analysis.
Abstract:
Recent results in the study of contact problems involving deformable solids
will be presented. The contact is modelled with the Signorini condition
or with normal compliance. Friction is described with a versionof
the Coulomb law. The material behaviour follow elastic-viscoplastic
constitutive law in which the piezzoelectric effect is taken into account.
Existence and possibly uniqueness results are presented as well as
numerical simulation.
