RESEARCH OF CONVERSATION IN THE COURTROOM

The project is an empirical research done in the courtrooms of district and reginal courts of Czech Republic with the aim to find and describe the structures typical for lawyers reasoning. The method used is conversation analysis. The research focuses on the classification of conversation turns of judges and parties, the use of legal concepts in conversation and on the general level the process of "fact production" and their "recording" in protocols.
