Geonics 2001

In connection with recent research activities of the Institute of Geonics, the relevant questions of temperatures and their influence on geomaterials was picked up as the topic of the symposium GEONICS 2001. The problems are quite actual because of practical applications connected with the underground storage and depository of waste nuclear fuel or some concepts of underground storage of energy. The symposium is organized in cooperation with the Czech national Group IRSM (International Society for Rock Mechanics) like IRSM Regional Symposium.
