  • The surfaces treated by various technologies

    Study of effects of technology parameters on the surface topography. Research of the possibility of influencing properties of material surface layers by traditional machining methods, application of liquid jet, etc. (treatment of concrete surfaces for following repair work, preparation of suitable anchor profile, hardening of the surface layers, removal of residual stresses, usable and aesthetic qualities of surfaces, etc.).

  • Cutting surfaces after machining by various technologies of material separation

    Study of effects of parameters of tested technology on the surface topography, elimination of negative effects of the technology on the properties of a workpiece. Looking for relations between force effect of the cutting technology on material, vibration, fluctuation in operating pressure (in the case of water jets), acoustic emissions etc. and topography of machined surface.
