New areas of high-speed water jet utilization

  • Machining using abrasive water jet enables to machine (turn, mill, polish, drill, etc.) difficult-to-machine and non-machinable materials, such as composites, ceramics, high-strength alloys, glass, rocks, etc.
  • Utilization of high-speed water jets for ultra-fine grinding and disintegration of materials (primarily geo-materials) in the area of production of submicron particles.
  • Precise machining by abrasive water jet for achievement of optimal shaping and dimensional accuracy of workpiece without the need for further machining. Increased accuracy of final workpieces can be achieved by using more precise cutting head manipulator, 3D swing cutting head eliminating chamfer, appropriate selection of nozzles, abrasives etc.
