Current research interests: the analytical re-interpretation of some classical philosophical topics, especially in the field of metaphysics; issue of universals and the problem of the relation between universals and abstract particulars; the question of the relation between universals and various artefactual entities; the tension between universal notions and fictional entities throughout the history of Western thought (from Stoic logic till Husserl and contemporary analytical philosophy); theory and philosophy of art (including film and photography).
