The Institute of Sociology of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic
- is an academic institute with long-term experience in research of contemporary society;
- is an institute supporting the development of sociological theory and methodology.
The Institute’s Department of Socioeconomics of Housing is experienced in housing and demographic research, has cooperated on the preparation of the national housing policy strategy and on the formulation of particular policy tools.
The Department of Socioeconomics of Housing
- is coordinator of research activities (WP3) which should yield information on existence and possible implementation of individual sorts of practices;
- is responsible for carrying out comparative analysis based on data gathered by partners in all participating countries and formulating recommendations for stakeholders at different levels.
