Nuclear Physics and Related Fields in the Basic, Applied and Interdisciplinary Research
Experimental study of bulk strongly interacting matter in heavy ion collisions, nuclei far from the stability, nuclear reactions for nuclear astrophysics, and neutrino mass from electron spectroscopy. Theoretical research on hadrons, hadronic systems, and mathematical physics. Employment of nuclear analytical methods and neutron diffraction in condensed matter, material, and life–science research. Studies on nuclear physics for future energy–production technologies and on dosimetry of ionising radiation. Research and development of radiopharmaceuticals. Development of accelerator methods. The aim is improvement of understanding strongly interacting systems and application and implementation of nuclear methods to other fields of science a technology.
