On the occasion of Techtextil Frankfurt, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, IRC Hessen/Rheinland-Pfalz, IRC Northern Germany and IRC Hellenic with the support of the Thematic Group Textiles and the Messe Frankfurt will organise the Brokerage Event “Techtextil 2007”.

What is a brokerage event all about?

A brokerage event will enable specialists from innovative companies and researchers from research institutes and universities to meet and either offer/request innovative technologies in various development stage and/or discuss R&D collaboration.

Who should attend our brokerage event?

• Specialist from innovative companies, research institutes and universities who wish to offer proprietary innovative technologies and solutions (in various development stage) to prospect and/or professional R&D collaboration
• Specialist from innovative companies, research institutes and universities who wish to find interesting proprietary technologies and solutions (in various development stage) and/or professional R&D collaboration 

How will the brokerage event be organized?

• On a website (please see link below referring to the registration) you have to register and then insert a "profile" - in which you describe, shortly, what your company/institute is doing and what you are offering/looking for
• After the deadline for registration a "catalog" will be generated, containing offers and requests from registered subjects
• After the deadline you are encouraged to visit the catalog and pick up offers/requests you are interested in. The same will be done by other participants. In this way you will actually create a meetings schedule 
• When attending the brokerage event on site you will have 20-30 minutes meetings with prospects with whom you wish to talk to and with prospects who wish to talk to you

What will the brokerage event topics be like?

The topics are aligned with the trade fair themes and we welcome innovative ideas, solutions and requests in the following areas:

 

• Machinery and accessories
• Fibres and yarns
• Wovens, scrims, braids and knitted fabrics
• Nonwovens
• Coated textiles
• Composites
• Bondtec
