J. Heyrovsky Institute of Physical Chemistry of the ASCR, v.v.i., offers :

*** one postdoctoral position available in the Department of structure and dynamic in catalysis in the group of Dr. Jiří Dědeček.

The tasks of the postdoctoral fellow will be the control of the distribution of framework Al atoms in the framework of Si-rich zeolite catalysts.
The position requires knowledge of methods of synthesis of inorganic heterogeneous catalysts and their characterization by basic spectroscopic and diffraction techniques. The applicant must hold a PhD degree in physics or chemistry. Initial duration of the contract will be 1 year, with a possibility for extension.

*** one postdoctoral position in the group of Dr. Michal Fárník / Dr. Ondřej Votava. The position is funded by the project GACR 13-11635S: "Vibrational overtone driven atmospheric chemistry in isolated molecules and molecular clusters".
Applicants should have PhD. in physics, chemistry or related fields.
The successful applicant will be involved in spectroscopic and photochemical studies of molecules and molecular clusters in supersonic molecular beams. He or she will participate in experimental apparatus development, spectroscopic and photochemical measurements and data analysis. Prior knowledge of vacuum technology, electronics, laser technology (both cw single mode and ns pulsed lasers), and data acquisition is desirable.
