Prof. Helena Illnerová awarded by President of the Academy of Sciences
9th January 2013, Prof. Helena Illnerová received in Prague the G. J. Mendel Medal for Achievements in the Biological Sciences. This award was handed to her by President of the Academy of Sciences, prof. Jiri Drahos for her 50 years pioneering studies in the management and molecular mechanisms of circadian rhythms and seasonal rhythms and functional synchronization of physiologic processes with the external day in mammals, including humans.
