  Internally, the Institute comprises 3 research departments: the Department of Legal Theory; the Department of Public Law; and the Department of Private Law. These departments are staffed with cca 30 researchers. The necessary resources for the research departments is provided by the Centre for Scientific Information, the Financial Office and the Editorial Board of the journal Pravník.
