Mgr. David Marek

David Marek joined the Technology Centre AS CR in 2011. As a member of the Strategic Studies Department attend to analysis in the field of policy studies – evaluation and proposals of measures in innovation and research policy, science-industry links issues, sustainability of research infrastructures, etc. In addition, he participated in the process of national research priorities formulation or periodical analysis of the state of R&D&I in the last year. Newly, he is correspondent in the ERAWATCH information platform.

David Marek graduated in Social Geography and Regional Development at the Faculty of Science of the Charles University in Prague. He follows on this field in the doctoral degree. He focuses on themes of innovations and science-industry links in the conditions of globalization. He spent half year at the University of Bergen, Norway during his graduate studies. He speaks English and German.
