The machine IBM e-server xSeries 455 is equipped by 8 Intel Itanium 2/1300 processors, 16 GB of shared memory, 3 MB of L2 cache, RAID controller with 2 x 72 GB disk storage.

Installed software includes operating system SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 8, MPICH 1.2.6 implementation of MPI for communication of parallel processes and a family of Intel compilers 8.1.

Optimalized for the screen resolution 1024x768 and higher
