Writing a thesis is not required to earn your Masters degree, but students must successfully defend their individual or group project. This is a “capstone” piece of work that demonstrates the knowledge and skills students have gained on the program. The project demonstrates how they can respond to a specific applied economics task and showcases their ability in the field.
"In that one intensive year, I gained a lot both personally and professionally. It was up to me to use the time, the resources available, the professors, the cohort, and the materials in the best possible way. Learning to be fully accountable was not an easy journey, but it made me think about priorities because I had to manage my time efficiently."
Veronika Jelínková, Graduate of 2013, Partner, Procrastination.com, San Francisco, USA
