Our scientists offer topics for PhD, MSc and Bc theses for students.
The aim of the Colloquium is to facilitate the exchange of up to date information and knowledge among specialists in structural and multibody dynamics, in coupled interacting systems as aero-elasticity, hydro-elasticity, bio-mechanics, systems with feedbacks and mechatronics. The papers and its presentations will be divided into the two sections and focused on the next problems: »»»
In December 3 – 4, our institute will be visited by prof. Elisabeth Aeby-Gautier (Institut Jean Lamour, Nancy, France) and prof. Benoit Appolaire (CNRS-ONERA, Chatillon-Paris, France), who are both interested in experimental characterization and mathematical modelling of microstructures in metastable titanium alloys. »»»
Technology Perspectives for Energy Storage is a collaborative workshop involving scientists, power industry leaders and government officials to outline the future and role of energy storage in ensuring secure energy and to discuss the promising topics for research into energy storage.
The workshop seeks to present ideas, examples, and projects related to experience with energy storage with a strong emphasis on promoting national awareness and inspiring action towards solving emerging problems. Through this event we hope to present promising research themes and technologies and challenge the attendees to discuss the feasibility of the technologies and trends for energy storage. »»»
The Czech Society for Mechanics and the Institute of Thermomechanica of the CAS invites you to the lectore of prof. Ari Glezer from the Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology. »»»
The Colloquium will be held in the Institute of Thermomechanics of the CAS v. v. i. in Prague. The subject covers all fields of fluid dynamics: theoretical, experimental and mathematical modeling, basic and applied. »»»
Abstract: Presentation of recent results of the long-time project on gas-liquid flow in packed bed by collective of authors: D. Asendrych, P. Niegodajew, M. Marek, S. Drobniak, W. Elsner.
Abstract: The presentation of the authors Drozdz A., Elsner W. will show new achievements in the research of a turbulent boundary layer structure and effect of pressure gradient.
The Symposium on Electric Machines, Drives and Power Electronics will be held in the Institute of Thermomechanics ASCR, v. v. i. in Prague on September 9-11, 2014. The Symposium is organized by the Institute of Thermomechanics ASCR, v. v. i. and the Institute for Drive Systems and Power Electronics, Leibniz Universität Hannover. The objective of the Symposium is to provide forum for gathering of professionals and researchers from the fields of electric machines, drives and power electronics and enable exchange of experience and new ideas from these areas. »»»
