The depicted mounted beetles were collected on flowers (Apiaceae) in Torre del Orso (Puglia prov., SE Italy). The living specimen was reared from a larva found in a dead Ficus carica collected in Az Zintan (Lybia, Jabal Nefusah).Collected by M.Hoskovec and Jean-Claude Ringenbach
