Deroplia niveopicta is a nocturnal species endemic to Gran Canaria (Canary Islands). The species is probably monophagous on Launaea arborescens (Batt.) Murb. (Asteraceae).

The depicted beetle was reared from a larva found in a dead twig of Launaea arborescens in Maspalomas (Gran Canaria, Canary Islands).
