Tetrops warnckei, described by Carolus Holzschuh from Akseki (Toros Mts., South Turkey) in 1977 [❖], belongs among less known and only very occasionally collected species of South Anatolian entomofauna.

Adults in:April - June
Host plant:polyphagous in deciduous trees [?]
Distribution:a species endemic to South Turkey


The depicted beetle was beaten from a blossoming hawthorn (Crataegus) near Güzelolük village (40 km N of Erdemli, SW Turkey).
